PHP 透過 Sudo 執行 root 指令

一直以來要用 PHP 以 root 身份執行系統管理工作的問題，就是 PHP 會以 apache 的身份執行，解決方法有安裝 suPHP 或 super 這類工具，但個人認為還是 Sudo 較為安全。首先要安裝 Sudo，據我所知 RHEL, Ubuntu 已經內置，Debian 只要用 apt-get 安裝就可以，以下是 FreeBSD 的安裝方法:

設定終止閒置 SSH 連線的時間

基於安全的理由，如果用戶連線到 SSH Server 後閒置，SSH Server 會在超過特定時間後自動終止 SSH 連線。以下是設定終止連線時間的方法:

1. 開啟 /etc/ssh/sshd_config 檔案，裡面有一個參數為 ClientAliveCountMax，它是設定用戶端的 SSH 連線閒置多長時間後自動終止連線的數值，單位為分鐘。

最新 Spam: MP3

由上個星期開始，Spammers 已經開始由圖片及 PDF spam 轉為音效 spam。這類 spam 會附帶一個 MP3 檔案，然後便會由一把女聲讀出廣告內容。

這個新形態垃圾郵件相對以前的垃圾郵件更難過濾，也顯示了 spammers 控制 botnets (殭屍電腦) 的技術進步。

Apache 限制上傳檔案體積

在 Apache 裡面有一個選項是 LimitRequestBody，這個選項可以限制用戶送出的 HTTP 請求內容。這個選項可以在 .htaccess 或 httpd.conf 裡使用，而如果在 httpd.conf 內使用，分別可以用在 virtualhost 或目錄屬性設定。而 LimitRequestBody 的設定值是介乎 0 (無限制) 至 2147483647 (2GB)。

例如要在目錄 /home/httpd/html/www.mydomain.com/uploads 設定上傳限制為 100K，可以在 .htaccess 或 httpd.conf 加入以下語句：

Apache 防止 DDoS 攻擊

DDoS (distributed denial-of-service) 及 DoS (denial-of-service) 在網路上十分常見，而 DoS 攻擊所傳送的請求跟正常的請求一樣，分別在於每秒鐘發出大量請求到伺服器，使伺服器的負載增加，最常見的情況是伺服器暫停服務。

而 mod_evasive 則是一個預防 Apache 遭受 DDos 攻擊的模組，可以防止同一個 IP 對相同 URI 發出的大量請求，可設定的選項有：

利用OpenMeetings架設視頻協作平台

       OpenMeetings是一個多語言可定制的視頻會議和協作系統。它支持音頻、視頻，支持共享左面，文件協作處理，它還包含一個白板，通過白板可以導入各種格式的圖片。它基於OpenLaszlo的新流媒體格式和開源的Flash服務器Red5。重要的是，它的國際化支持很好。 有中文可以選擇。這對我們來說，是很方便的。不用去搞什麼"漢化"了。最重要的，它基於LGPL(http://www.thebigfly.com/gnu/lgpl/lgpl-v3.php)開源協議，所以，搭建這樣一個平台是完全自由免費的。
